Sino-implant (II)/Levoplant is a subdermal contraceptive implant composed of two thin, flexible, silicone rods, each containing 75 mg levonorgestrel, the active ingredient, for a total of 150 mg. The rods are inserted under the skin of a woman's upper arm by a trained health care provider. After discontinuation, there is no delay in a woman's return to fertility compared to women who are not using a contraceptive method.
